About Us
We started out as Puzzle Piece Fitness and out of the trunk of our presidents car in late 2016. He came up with our name thanks to a tattoo on his back he got in college that was also a puzzle piece that helped him come out of his comfort zone since people were constantly asking him about it. Since the puzzle piece helped him, he figured it could serve as a symbol to help others like him in a new venture. In an effort to expand our clientele base and enrich more individuals lives, our president transformed us into a Limited Liability Company in July of 2018. Then in March of 2019, we opened up our first physical location. To further our mission and principles we transformed into doing business as Equally Fit in November of 2019. Just because someone may have a disability does not mean they do not deserve a chance to be as fit as someone without a disability or that they deserve a trainer less than properly qualified!
Equally Fit, is a personal training studio. We do not consider this to be a typical Disability kind of therapy. Exercise is a therapy that everybody in life should participate in and is life long and thus there are no "graduation" achievement milestones. Our goal is to use functional training that not only incorporates strength and cardiovascular training but also incorporates some things within the exercise that can help improve motor planning, improve social skills, and balance. Our president wishes to be a person that these individuals can turn to, so they can see they are not alone or helpless in this weird world we live in.
